By accessing or using the CutBook salon management software, mobile application, or related web services, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any portion of these terms, you are requested to cease using our products immediately.

2. Description of Services & Subscriptions

CutBook provides an offline-first POS and commission ledger management platform for salon owners and stylists. Currently, the application is offered for free to help streamline local businesses. We reserve the absolute right to introduce subscription packages, premium features, or service tiers in the future. Advance notice will be provided to registered users prior to any billing structure changes.

3. Local Storage & Account Syncing

Because CutBook operates on an offline-first architecture, your transaction data, stylist performance records, and local payment ledgers are stored directly on your physical device. Keeping this data secure depends on protecting your local device.

When you synchronize data with the CutBook cloud ecosystem, you verify that you hold legal authority over the salon records, stylist names, and billing records registered under your account profile.

4. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to use the CutBook POS system for any unlawful operations or transactions. Specifically, you agree not to:

• Attempt to exploit, reverse-engineer, or disrupt the WebSocket synchronizing system.
• Inject malicious code, files, or SQL commands into the local SQLite structure or cloud servers.
• Impersonate other salon businesses or access database records belonging to other users.
• Utilize the system to calculate or execute fraudulent stylist payouts or tax-evading ledgers.

5. Limitation of Liability

CutBook is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. We offer no warranties, express or implied, regarding database uptime, backup integrity, or financial calculation errors. Under no circumstances shall CutBook or its development team be liable for lost profits, data corruption, or business disruptions arising from service interruptions, synchronizing lag, or mobile hardware failures.

6. Modification of Services

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the CutBook platform (or any part thereof) at any time, with or without notice. You agree that we will not be held liable to you or any third party for any modifications or suspensions of the service.
